Black Belt Promotions

On Saturday 28th April, the following Intrepid students successfully gained new black belt qualifications:

• Mr. Darren Scott (5th Degree)
• Ethan Hunking (1st Degree)
• Lee Little (1st Degree)

They all attended a seminar with Master Brown at the Dojang before assessing, and then grading.  It was a full day of intensive training for everyone.  Ethan has been training since May 2007, and has now gained his 1st Degree black belt at the age of 13.  Lee has been training since June 2008, and has now gained his 1st Degree black belt at the age of 14.

The seminar was also attended by Greg Thompson, who is now preparing to sit the next black belt grading!

Additionally, on Saturday 27th, the following Intrepid students completed the next stage in their progression towards 2nd Degree black belt:

• Lynsey Averill (2.1)
• Susan Dundas (1.2)
• Christopher Ostrom (1.1)
• Ryan McCluskey (1.1)
• Ryan Shearer (1.1 Provisional)
