Kids Xmas Party 2013

The Intrepid Children’s Christmas Party was held at East Calder Xcite Sports Centre on 21st December 2013, and was attended by Rainbow, Peewee and Junior students from all clubs.  Parents were once again very generous with their donations of party food and drinks – greatly appreciated by the hungry horde!

A big thank also to the adult helpers who gave up their afternoon to assist (Mrs. Scott, Miss. Dundas, Mr. West, Mr. Marsden and Mr. Mitchell-Thain) for all their help with organising all the party games etc. A special thank you to Miss. Dundas for creating the club Taekwondo Christmas cake!!  Finally – thanks to the Xcite Sports Centre staff who helped to setup (and clear up) the hall.

The highlight of the party was once again Xcite’s massive inflatable obstacle course. This provided opportunities for race based games – to see who could get through the course the quickest etc.

Of course, there was also plenty of music playing to keep everyone in the festive mood; which also came in handy for the musical statues and pass-the-parcel games.

To finish the party off, everyone enjoyed themselves with plenty of food and drink, and this completed another great year for the Intrepid clubs.

We hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and look forward to next year’s party already.
